What's up with bases popping up all over the place recently? Who started the trend anyway? Isn't it a little more original to, oh I don't know, make your character from start to finish instead of using someone else's base drawing and adding stuff to it? Are people getting too lazy to create their own stuff or something?

I don't know. I can understand someone in real life who likes to add things to dolls because they can't make them, but a base drawing? I find it quite awkward when I see images of nude, hairless people doing oh I don't know things and allowing others to use them. Come on people, let's be a little more original!
